Ashram Rules & Guidelines

  • Ashram provides basic accommodation only to the guests
  • Smokings, Gutka (Tobacco), Alcohol & Drugs are strictly prohibited on the Ashram Premises
  • Persons under the influence of Alcohol and Drugs are also strictly prohibited on the campus
  • Carrying arms and weapons inside ashram premise is strictly prohibited
  • Single occupancy is NOT permitted in ashram Guest House
  • Guests with family can stay maximum of 7 days from date of Check-in as an exception
  • Ashram does not guarantee any accommodation if not booked in advance
  • Medical patients need to furnish doctor’s recommendation for further treatment in Bangalore and will be given priority in case of availability
  • All guests need to provide a security deposit of Rs.2000/- before check-in
  • Pets are not allowed
  • Guests are requested to maintain the sanctity of the ashram
  • Mobile/cell phones are NOT permitted inside the main temple
  • Guests are requested to maintain silence within ashram premise
  • Outside foods are not allowed inside ashram premises
  • Guests need to collect the meal coupon for lunch before 8AM and for Dinner before 5PM
  • Foods will not be served inside the room
  • Use water sparingly. Make sure all taps and electrical switches are turned off after use
  • Guests’ behavior and dress code should be respectful of Indian culture
  • Visitors for the guests are not allowed inside
  • Foreign students/guests must bring their original passport with a valid visa for India to cover the duration of their stay
  • Ashram is not responsible for any loss or damage of any personal belongings during the stay
  • Any damaged caused in the ashram by the guest during stay will be charged at actuals
  • We are selective and prefer a personal introduction before giving reservations/accommodations
  • Right to Admission is reserved
  • Rates/charges are subject to change without notice
  • Personal cheques are not accepted for payment
  • Ashram main gate will be closed by 10PM and hence guests are requested to adhere to ashram timing
  • Bharat Sevashram Sangha disapproves of and condemns any form of harassment directed at guests, staff or visitors.  Any guest who thinks he/she may be the victim of unsolicited advances or any other form of sexual harassment is asked to notify a senior Swami or Director immediately in order for corrective action to be undertaken without delay.  Complaints made to a senior Swami or director will be treated confidentially and the alleged violator or any third party will not be advised of the complainant’s identify without the latter’s consent
  • Violation to any of the above guidelines, ashram authority has all rights to cancel guest’s stay in ashram premise immediately without any prior notice and has no responsibility to provide any alternative accommodation.
